Skin Appendages¶
Origin of Appendages¶
- Hair follicular > epidermis invaginate into dermis like gland formation then the stems cells form hair bulb and produces keratin and bundles them hair.
Types of glands in Skin¶
- Sebaceous gland => Secbum ==> Moisturising
Apocrinesweat gland =>Nervousness ==> protein rich fluid => bacteria eats => Bad smell- Eccrine sweat gland ==>via a duct => sweat during summer (cooling function)
Acne
Secbum Triglycerides produced by Sebaceous gland is breakdown by bacteria to free Fatty acid which irritates the skin form acne lesion ==> blockage of sebum inside hair follicles with lymphocyte infiltration.
