IV Vaso-controllers/ Hypotension

Goal : Increase and Reduce BP

Cause: due to loss of fluid , improper heart function , HTN

Types

1. only Vaso-constrictors

2. Phenylephrine- Pure α1 receptor agonists {Start at 30 μg/mi}

3. vassopressin - V1,V2 recptor agonist (increase Kindey reabsorption,vaso-constriction)

4. Vaso-contriction & Heart power increares

5. Dopamine - D1 receptors of heart, α1 recptors of BV
6. Nor-adrenalin - more α1 and slight β agonist {Start at 2 μg/min and titrate}
7. Adrenaline - more β and less α1 agonist {Start at 2 μg/min and titrate}

1. Vasodilators and Inotropes[ Heart power increares ]

   • Dobutamine - β1 agonist & Vasodialtion {2.5–20 μg/kg/min}

2. Vaso-dilation

3. Nitroglycerin - only Systemic Vasodialtion [ ⇓Preload by increase in venous capacitance ]
   • Nitroprusside - Both arterial and Venodialtion
