Symptoms

1. Gi
2. Paraquat tongue
3. Esophageal and gastric erosion
4. Pulmonary: occurs due to distribution to pneumocytes
5. Pneumonitis
6. Pulmonary fibrosis (delayed) -
7. Multiorgan failure
8. Acute renal failure
9. Hepatic necrosis
10. Myocardial necrosis
11. Internal bleeding

Diagnosis

- Urine 
- Serum paraquat lvls

Mng

1. Decontamination of Exposure
2. Charcoal within 1-2hrs
3. intubation as Pulmonary injury with low O2 monitering for Free radicals
4. Anti-free radical therapy [ vitamin C , NAC ]
5. dialysis . steroids Contraversila
