Symptoms

  • Dyspnea
  • Becks triad
  • Muffled Heart sounds
  • ↓BP

  • ↑JVP

  • Pulses Paradoxus = Pulses Paradoxus - when inspiration causes increased blood flow RV that Push LV , as no space by tamponade pushing heart leading to reduced systolic ⇒ lower Korskoff sound < 10mmhg

  • Normally less than 10mmhg , due to RV pushing the pericardium

  • Fasle Postive in Asthma/ COPD deep breath

ECG

  • low QRS voltage
  • Electrical Altercans
